1Introducing Calm Studio

Your body has a story — I'm here to listen.

Our bodies are not machines. They carry our history, our experiences, and sometimes our pain. After years in the corporate world, I followed a long-held dream and graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland in 2019, completing their 850-hour massage therapy program.

Since then I have continued advanced training and mentorship in medical massage, structural integration, Reiki, and craniosacral therapy. My goal is for your time on the table to be the most restorative part of your day — and for you to leave shining a little brighter.

Background, training, and how I practice

East West College of the Healing Arts

Graduated in Portland, Oregon in June 2019 from the 850-hour massage therapy program, with continuing advanced training and mentorship every year since.

Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist #25278

Licensed and insured in the state of Oregon. Sessions are documented and can be billed to PIP for motor vehicle accident care.

A facilitator, not a healer

Clients do their own healing. My work is to hold a safe, trauma-informed environment where the body can unwind, reorganize, and shift at its own pace.

Advanced training

  • Medical Massage
  • Structural Integration
  • Myofascial Release
  • Craniosacral Therapy
  • Trigger Point Release
  • Deep Tissue
  • Reiki
  • Joint Mobilization
  • Cupping
  • Hot Stone Therapy

Because my work is integrative, you never choose a modality from a menu. I draw from all of this training during your session time, guided by your goals and your body's response.

When I'm Not In The Studio

Foraging, beachcombing, and a puppy named Reggie

Outside of work you'll often find me exploring the Pacific Northwest with my husband John and our puppy Reggie — mushroom foraging, beachcombing, hiking, or simply being outside. At home, I love cooking in my luminary kitchen, gardening, making art, and throwing pottery.
